The referee and Vincent Kompany.
The ref was shit scared of him it seemed. How many times did kompany foul Valencia, even after he'd (finally) been booked. Was never gonna be shown a second yellow in a thousand years.

Re: The referee and Vincent Kompany.
It was a warning to us though, as Valencia looked especially groggy after one particular tackle and then with this talk of Sakho going to hospital, we have to remember that we could have lost both today to injury.....would we be as confident and/or different looking side without them?

gotta keep our feet on the ground....

Cheddie has a point.

Ridiculous how many fouls he was allowed today.

Re: The referee and Vincent Kompany.
Song deliberately handled the ball twice. Thankfully he just got ONE yellow card.

do we really need to rely on any negatives today?

what I learned is man city are a team full of cynical dirty cunts when they don't have the ball and when they do fall over at the slightest touch

Re: The referee and Vincent Kompany.
Never seen an opposition player being injured by an opponent handling the ball. But yeah, let's compare that to what Kompany was doing all game.

Didn't notice at the time how bad that Aguero stamp on Noble's ankle in the middle of the pitch was.
The referee was two yards away and crouching as he stared straight at it and didn't even give a free kick.
Summed up his day.

Kompany doing punditry during the season? Wouldn't be having that as a manager.

His head is perfectly spherical too.

Like a FUCKING MALTESER!

Didn't see anything he did was worth a second yellow to be fair

Why are people so negative on here after such a good win?

Re: The referee and Vincent Kompany.
MOTD clearly showed and mentioned the fact that the ref was RIGHT THERE, when Aguero stamped on Noble's ankle. Pundits agreed it could have been a red, mayve should have been. Aguero nearly scored from the subsequent attack.

Will the ref get grilled by his bosses in any way for that? It's not as if he had an obstructed view.

Kompany was simply imposing himself the way we would want our centre backs to be doing.

Mr Polite 12.28

Because a lot of players have gone for a damn site less and if the boot were on the other foot the mancy cunts with their Argies and spanish "floppers" would have been doing their share of whining demanding a red
much much more than we did.

Kompany & Aguero lucky to stay on the pitch...

Ref seemed scared of Kompany ...

Re: The referee and Vincent Kompany.
Polite - are you blind or just being reactionary to seek attention? Kompany should have got a second yellow for that tackle on Valencia, without doubt,

Grumpster 4:12 Sun Oct 26
Re: The referee and Vincent Kompany.
Seen yellows given for the second tackle, but it's one of those that looks worse than it is anyway, as players roll around like girls nowadays.

And his first booking was ridiculous anyway.

Ref did miss a few things though.
